2011 Fall Open Studios
The ArtSpan Open Studios event takes place on 5 weekends in October.
I will be participating on Weekends 3 & 4.
Apart from the landscape abstractions in oil that have continued
to challenge me throughout the year, there will also be a new series
in pen and ink that I have begun to develop in the past 6 months
and have not yet shown. These drawings have taken up most of my
creative time and I look forward to sharing them with you.

The North Beach Art Walk is a yearly event. This will be our

At the very end of 2010 I moved to my own studio.
Exciting and at the same time a bit scary! This is my new studio address:

Settling in, I miss my fellow artists from Oakdale, but also enjoy being able to work without any time constraints other than required by my day job.
I am hopeful that 2011 will bring further learning experiences, space and time to experiment, and opportunities for artistic and personal development.
Ongoing projects with the Art, Wine, and Dine artists will bring more experience, joy, and welcome challenges. Our group took flight with the Spring Open Studios (April 2010) and in looking back I found that in our founding year we have organized more than 15 shows of at least 4 weeks length as well as longer exhibits, in addition to three weekends of Fall Open Studios. This was only accomplished because all artists contributed equally their time and energy into these projects whenever called upon. I am very proud to be a part of this enthusiastic and energetic group.
Plans for 2011 look promising - so stay tuned for more detaield information about future shows. A closing reception at Triptych Restaurant and Gallery will take place at the end of February. You will receive a separate invitation via our Newsletter.
